2002-10-18 - 1:56 a.m. Having just spent the better part of a month overdubbing the guitar part on a single two and half minute song, fearing my lifestyle now somewhat reflected that of Steely Dan (minus drug use, jazz inflections, and wild women), I went out of my way today to spend a day away from the mixing board. First on the agenda: catching the 11:30 AM showing of Bowling for Columbine. Neural faculties no longer atrophied, following the film I marched past the guitar stores and over to the Barnes and Noble at Astor Place. I exited with fresh copies of Fast Food Nation and Kick Me, ready to combat the ills of our world. So the next time you see me and wish to converse, I beg of you, do not piddle away our time with nonsensical hogwash, and let us instead work together to rid the streets of violence, fear, and crass commericalism!
