2002-11-05 - 11:31 a.m. Lives are often repetitious, and mine is no exception. However, occasionally new and interesting events unfold, and I always take note. Now, and forever more, I will share these notes with you. FIRSTS... Our show in Philadelphia Saturday night wasn't the first performance I've done while sick, but it did mark the first time I've played a rock show wearing Alpine-grade thermal underware, double socks, and two long sleeve shirts. Saturday also brought my first experience drinking YooHoo from a can. I've enjoyed YooHoo in many formats and I'm pleased to announce the can, while lacking some of the woody undertones of the carton, is still a fine beverage. Monday I survived my first water main break here in Jersey City. The faucets and tub flowed with colorful water that left behind a brown, poopesque residue. Unable to bathe, I thatched back what cowlicks I could with pomade, gave myself a double-dose of Angel Cologne for Men for good measure, and strode into work in full scraggle, reminiscent of television's Squiggy. Potential future FIRSTS subject matter: An all denim pantsuit, Diet Vanilla Coke, Chainsawing!
