2002-12-31 - 12:03 p.m. New Year's woes and a rez... At this point in time I am unprepared for the new year. Aside from not having a concrete plan as to what to do this evening, I am still without a calendar. Every year I have this problem, with the exception of 1997, when my mom gave me a Bob Marley calendar for X-Mas. Last year I scrambled around town into late January, when I finally compromised with a "The Cat Who Went to Paris" calendar. The cat is named Norton, and apparently it was fairly well known and liked to travel. I figured images of Norton would fill the feline void in my life, and, by association, soften my 'hard as nails' disposition. Who will stare back at me from my wall this year remains a mystery. My resolution is to be Microsoft-free in six months. Am I buying a MAC? Heck no. I've decided to become a Linux user. I'm hoping that it'll become my new 'thing', and maybe even eventually lead to some sort of rad nerdy career. HAPPY NEWBIE EVERYBODY!
